WebJun 3, 2024 · 491 Posts. #2 · Dec 16, 2024 (Edited) I'll bite Tony. Sounds like multiple issues. First, sounds like the nitrogen lift struts on the trunk lid need to be replaced. The trunk should lift easily and if it slams down from halfway, you need new struts. Easy fix - 10 minutes a screwdriver and a helper to hold the trunk.
