WebThe bridge originally constructed in 1902 by the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway is a bobtail swing bridge known as the Z-2 or Cherry Avenue Railroad Bridge. The 230-foot long asymmetrical structure is referred to as a bobtail swing because of the shortened north end with its concrete counterweight.
