Considering the wide range of response of various ECM8000 samples (as seen in the graph below), a single generic calibration file can’t account for all mics. I know it isn't the best mic for speaker measurement, but for me worked like charm ( or at least improved my speakers sound a lot). Web11 aug. 2024 · The mic calibration profile can be loaded straight into the Reference 4 Measure app during the Hardware Setup stage of the speaker measurement process. To load the mic calibration profile, simply enter your Microphone ID as shown in the picture below. Note that this functionality requires an active internet connection.

When you see calibration files come with mics, it because they tested that mic in the factory and loaded the data on to a flash drive or what ever.
