Web8 de set. de 2016 · 2015 - 2024 F150 - How accurate is the TPMS? - I've set my tire pressure and checked it using a stick gauge, an analog gauge and a digital gauge. They all read within a half pound, yet the TPMS reads 2 pounds lower. I didn't use high end calibrated gauges, but I doubt they would all be off by the same amount. All 4... Web27 de jan. de 2024 · My TPMS is spot on and most cars I work on are really accurate too. I use a liquid filled Longacre gauge and it’s accurate to .5 PSI. I’ve checked it against other gauges and I fill enough cars at work to know that it’s accurate. Unless you own anything that requires really high PSI then the best is to get a gauge that’s 0-60 PSI or so.

Web16 de out. de 2024 · Direct TPMS. Direct TPMS uses sensors that are mounted on the wheel to measure the pressure in each tire. This gives the system more accurate readings, as each sensor is able to monitor its own tire independently. That can be valuable in preventing accidents. The downside of the Direct TPMS is that it is more expensive than … Web17 de fev. de 2011 · The Techstream readout turned out to be 42.1/41.7 front, 39.5/41.7 rear. According to the TPMS system, the "Threshold of Low-pressure" values (level at which the TPMS light will come on) are 33.7/33.0 front, 31.5/33.4 rear. So it appears that the reset function sets the warning level to about 80% of the current level.
